Hidden or highlighted in museums and galleries across the world, Hekate is nowhere and everywhere. Many people in the Covenant know about my project Following her Torches, it has just been updated with 9 more places of interest, reaching a total of 154 so far!
My personal goal since I became a devotee of Hekate was to find and catalogue every exhibit there is for the devotees who wish to find her. Google Maps is a universal and accessible and free-to-use platform for my task. My wish is one day to complete my project with every place in the world catalogued.
For those not familiar with the map, the link leads you to a Google Map with every museum, collection, gallery and archaeologial site linked to Hekate. You can use the map every time you visit a place for holidays and you can search and find the Lady of the Crossroads, or you can use the map to explore your own country in search for Her.
With new additions that include places from Cortona and Athens to Seul, this map is a blueprint of the museums where Hekatean archaeological finds are being displayed. The map is a living example of how much we can achieve if we collectively seek Her around the globe.
I would like to add here my special thanks and credit to Alexandros and Iriome for some of the most recent points on the map and to ask of everyone to do the same as this map is turning into a life-long commitment of mine.
If you travel and come across the Goddess Hekate in some museum, gallery or exhibition, please do share with me your finds so we can add the location in the map (if not already there), the map is made only for archaeological finds and not contemporary and/or devotional art.
