Sanctuary of Hekate Magna

This sanctuary is based in London. It is in the garden of a private home near the common at Clapham and also within walking distance of the thriving multi-cultural communities in Brixton. A neighbourhoodwhich is already magical, with covens and other practitioners; and herbalists and wholefood shops and a farmer's market. A good mix which thrives and expands as the years go by.

It's been a decade since the sanctuary moved home to this place, having taken its first steps a year or two before in a very small and humble sitting room off the Wandsworth Road. A storm which tore off parts of the roof and and brought crashing down the tent next to it which was part of a 3 mts x 3 mts structure next to the garden building put a stop to group meetings. Then came the covid years.

We have repaired and are beginning again, thanks in part to a generous donor who has provided for the builder and materials to repair damage to the main structure. Now the garden has also been set in order and we are beginning to replenish the healing plants that were there for years. The faithful olive and fig trees planted as offerings to Hekate have grown so much meanwhile and are the visual backbone of the walled garden.

Our herb collection is growing again and our minerals and stone collection also. The prayer and meditation inner space is open once again to visitors, by appointment. You are welcome to contact Andrea Angelos to facilitate your access. hekatemagna@gmail.com

It looks lovely Andrea! I will be in London at the end of October. I will definitely reach out to visit the sanctuary if possible or at least bring there some offerings ♥️
